Post-Care Oil contains a high dose of 100 million live probiotic microbes per ml. At this high dose, live probiotics can help protect the skin from pathogens through competitive exclusion. This means that the probiotic takes up all the docking sites on the skin cells and takes up all the nutrition, making it difficult for invading species to gain a foothold and survive.

Activator is needed to release the probiotics from the microspheres that they are carried by in the product, and it consists of a ph-balanced solution that contains nutrients that are only available for the growth of the probiotics. The probiotic strains used produce a higher level of Anti-Microbial Peptides (AMPs) that protect against opportunistic strains such as Staphylococcus aureus. Probiotics show efficacy in repairing barrier function by calming the immune response and by improving the quality and quantity of tight junctions.

Use When Pre-Care Oil and Activator have been used before treatment: Apply 5 hours after treatment When Pre-Care Oil and Activator have not been used before treatment: Apply 48 hours after treatment.

Continue use for 2 weeks after the treatment: 1-2 pumps of Post-Care Oil mixed together with Activator in the palm. Emulsify with your fingertips and apply to the treated area twice a day.
